I mean, the movie had its flaws. The premise certainly wasn’t anything new. Yes, it’s “Dances With Wolves.” Yes, it’s “The Last Samurai”. But it’s different enough to be its own movie, even if the premise is derivative.

This was a good film. Was it great? No—at least not as far as the plot goes. But it was good. And as you pointed out, the visuals were absolutely gorgeous. But even aside from the eye candy, the movie was good (thought not great), was a lot of fun, and CERTAINLY deserves better than a 1.5. Considering some of the drivel that’s come out this year (Wolverine, Terminator, etc.), your rating really surprises me.

Just wait until after the holidays and I can be back on the show. I am SO gonna straighten you out…
