In this bonus episode, Andrew talks with Ondi Timoner, director of the new award-winning documentary We Live in Public. She is the only director to ever win two Grand Jury Awards at the Sundance Film Festival, which makes her more than a little awesome. Her film follows internet pioneer Josh Harris over the course of 10 years as he experiments with various forms of early social networking technology, sometimes with bizarre and troubling results.

NOTES FROM ANDREW:
Ondi Timoner: Ondi Timoner is the only director to win the Grand Jury Award at Sundance twice. She won in 2004 for her film Dig! and again in 2009 for We Live in Public. She is currently developing a biopic of photographer Robert Mapplethorpe with co-producer Eliza Dushku.
We Live in Public: We Live in Public is a documentary about Josh Harris, the "greatest internet pioneer you've never heard of." He founded Pseudo.com, the first website for online television. He also conducted numerous social experiments in which he tested the effects of media and technology on human psychology. The most famous of these experiments, "Quiet: We Live in Public," revolved around a group of over 100 volunteers who lived underneath New York City with cameras broadcasting their every action online. The film explores how the Internet and social networking have evolved, and how new technology is causing people to give up their people in order to "live in public."
The Interview: The interview was conducted in April at the Full Frame Documentary Film Festival in Durham, North Carolina. It took place outside in front of a local coffee shop, so you may hear cars and other background noise.
