Andrew and guest host James begin their coverage of the Full Frame Documentary Film Festival with a review of Ondi Timoner's film We Live in Public. The film chronicles the story of Josh Harris, an internet pioneer who spent millions of dollars on social experiments. What kind of experiments? Well, for one, he got a hundred people to live in a secret hideout under New York City where their every move was videotaped.
The film explores the evolving relationship between humans and technology, and whether or not social networking is as positive as it first seems. It took home the Grand Jury prize for documentaries at Sundance - but does it live up to the hype?
As always, information on this film and more can be found at: www.fullframefest.com.
