Andrew and Morgan cover several movies this week, including Push, He's Not That Into You, and Coraline. Sort of.

Well because I’m a professional and saw Coraline here is my review. 8/10 and I seen it in 3D but I don’t think the lack of it would have change my score. It does do 3D well without being a gimick. I would calls this a kids Horror movie as it was quite scary and not just creepy but actually scary. With that in mind the basic plot is Coraline is sick of her life after moving, bad parents, no friends the usual stuff so she finds a fantasy world that seems to good to be true but she is addicted. The visual really help the moie as the story is a bit predictable.

You know, I’m really impressed with the quality of 3D now. It’s not 100% where I’d like it to be yet (the glasses diffuse the light and cut the brightness a LOT), but it’s impressive.
Thanks for the review. I wish I’d seen it now. I like everything else Gaiman has done, and the visuals on this made it look all the more interesting. And I can deal with predictable — as you said, it’s a kids’ movie, so you have to expect that. Maybe I’ll check it out this coming weekend.
