Finally! LOST has returned! Surprisingly, one of the three LostChatter hosts did not care that much for the double-header episodes. Which one of us didn't like them? And why not?
After we properly beat that host to a pulp, we take a look at several new questions -- and possible answers -- brought up by the premiere, such as the situation with Locke and Ethan, what's going on with Charlotte, characters' attempts to change the past, and more.

I'm really not a big fan of Facebook (see item #3 below). Furthermore, I normally ignore this type of thing when it comes into my inbox, regardless of the source.
This time around, I figured I'd break down and participate. Here are 25 random things about myself that you may or may not know (or even care about).
There's just too much awesomey goodness to put into one episode, so we're splitting it into two! This is the first part of our 2008 MovieChatter Awards Extravaganza, where we cover the best and the worst of 2008.
(Part two will be posted within a couple of days)

This is the brief retelling of the Star Wars trilogy by someone who has never seen it.

Welcome back to TechChatter!
This week on the show: It's too late for Palm, Text Messaging is too expensive and not that much happened at CES and MacWorld.
(UPDATE: In the episode, I mention the netbook as being made by Asus. It's actually an Acer Aspire. Thanks to Jolly for reminding me to make this correction, and good catch.)

There's been lots of news, press releases, and bonus content in the world of Lost fandom recently -- and aside from the spoilers, it's all just fluff. However, Nathan, Joe and Erik wade our way through the Season Five hype and discuss each's favorite Season Four episode, look at the Season Four DVD's, check out Ajira Airways, and talk a little bit about small bladders.

(PS: Evangeline, if you're listening, we love you, and we were just kidding about you being drunk. Please don't sue.)
We've talked a lot about the Watchmen movie and its lawsuit between Fox and Warner Brothers. A recent court ruling indicates that Fox has "at least some rights" to distribution, and therefore, both parties should work toward an agreement rather than battling it out in court. Both Fox and WB have refused to come to a settlement and have asked the court to make a final ruling, which will take place later this month.
For those of you who are Watchmen fans, I highly recommend you read this letter from the film's producer, Lloyd Levin.
It's a very level-headed perspective on what's going on. However, its points make me all the more angry at what Fox is doing. Sure, it might be legal. But it's not right.
