RandomChatter MST-Style, thanks to RiffTrax!

Surprisingly enough, I managed to avoid the temptation of titling this post, "OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG..." (apologies to my staff for the OMG-filled email I just sent you).

Once I heard that RiffTrax (from the makers of Mystery Science Theater 3000) was releasing their "iRiffs" feature, I gave it a lot of thought before deciding RandomChatter would officially be partaking in this project.

...and by "a lot of thought," I mean about three seconds.

We've actually done this before. We've recorded audio commentaries for movies. And then there was the "un-recorded" commentary for Serenity, back when Brian got his new portable mixer/recorder.

BRIAN: "Well, I think that recording went pretty well! Why don't we... umm... dude, don't get mad, but... I think that little red light was supposed to be lit while we were recording, right?"

So while we don't have a lot of details yet as far as what we'll be recording or how often, we will be doing audio tracks for iRiffs. It looks like the system is going live sometime in October, so we'll keep you posted.

In the meantime, please email us, post a comment here, or post in our forums and let us know what movies you'd like to see us riff. Until then, we'll get started on Ultraviolet. ;)
